S.F.3.D Original.
How many people remember this? Back in the early to-mid eighties, NITTO released a series of model kits. They were by far superior to anything out in the market. Good molding, great details, screws, springs, decals and a collectible card with paint schematics:
Well, after a fifteen year absence, they return. Kow Yokoyama's wonderful designs are now available in their original glory, but now released under the name "Ma.K. ZbV3000 Maschinen Krieger". In November 2000, they released their first 1/6-scale kit. This is compatible with all GI Joe and Dragon Models action figures (...with a little trimming, a figure can actually fit inside)! This is the advertisement pullout poster from Model Graphix magazine:
I don't think much more can be said... but there is! Now that fans have had a year to work with the model, new customized versions are starting to surface. In this month's Model Graphix magazine (Oct. 2001), there is a special on two Pooyan Toys model kits. I don't know if these will be offered to the public... or they're just teasing us. But we can learn a lot from the pictures:
And I know there are some out there that will love this:
Enjoy
