For those of you who don't know, I live in Houston. Thanks to an unwanted visitor named Allison, my new house got flooded. Although my computer was not a victim to the rising water, it is currently disconnected and buried under a lot of my other stuff. As such, there was no update to either site last week, nor will there be one this week. Hopefully, things will be back normal in about another week to ten days, and updates will resume then.

If you have tried to e-mail me, I am not ignoring you. I am borrowing a computer to make this update as it is. Once things are back to normal, I will respond to all e-mails as fast as possible.

Tomb Raider USP Is A Hybrid:
After seeing some pictures from the new Tomb Raider Tech Manual (ISBN: 0743423542) and discussing it with some other collectors, it has been determined that the H&Ks Lara uses in the movie are actually hybrids. The compensator, extended barrel, and special sights, and trigger stop (hightlighted in red) are from the USP Match, the modified grip and clip (highlighted in blue) are from the USP Expert, but the slide lock (highlighted in yellow is not from any known model of the USP. As soon as I get some more info, I will post it here. In the meantime, check out HKPro, Unofficial Heckler & Koch, Heckler & Koch, and Heckler & Koch USA for info on the real steel pieces.

Tomb Raider AirSofts: One of this site's visitors, Chris, has purchased two of the duotone USP Match spring-powered AirSoft pistols from Backyard Safari and contributed photos of them. These are not shown on their site, but they are available if you call and ask. Price is $25 each plus shipping, and they are available in duotone or solid black. If they look familiar, it is because the duotones are replicas of the real steel Heckler & Koch models Angelina Jolie is seen holding in the posters for the new Tomb Raider movie. New 1/6 Scale Figure: Mike Gauldin of Dog Soldiers has sent me the following information: Thought you might be interested in these. The photos are from my factory, and show the Apache Warrior figure I have coming out in late July. They can be pre-ordered for $32 + $4.
