Product Description:
Starship Troopers is an action game set in the science fiction universe
of the "Starship Troopers" novel by Robert Heinlein and TriStar
Picture's feature film of the same name. As an armored trooper in the
mobile infantry, players must prevent the Bug warriors from destroying
humanity. The CD-ROM game captures the lethal atmosphere of both book
and movie, with pulse-pounding chase view intergalactic warfare.
The player controls a trooper who participates in orbital combat drops,
using high powered battle armor and a variety of devastating weapons to
accomplish mission objectives before being evacuated to safety. As the
trooper increases in rank and ability, the player will have the
opportunity to accept promotions, giving himself command over additional
troops. Eventually, the player can control the entire combat drop.

-- Fast-Paced Missions - Fight the alien bug invasion in fast-paced
missions that force the player to make quick tactical decisions to
complete the objective and catch the evacuation ship.
-- Control Every Movement - The player has total control of a 3-D
animated trooper in a 3-D world environment featuring underground bug
tunnels, buildings, and nasty, relentless bugs.
-- Dynamic Mission Generator - Players battle bugs in multiple worlds
and mission types created by a unique dynamic Mission Generator that
adapts itself to performance level.
-- Multiplayer Capabilities - Starship Troopers supports up to 25
players in fierce fire fight with or against friends.
