This is the Mobile Infantry accessory pouch that holds a Morita magazine. Two of them are worn on the left side, in front of the Water Bottle Pouch on the MI armor.

The Morita magazines are actual ammo clips with modified housings molded around them. Actual magazines were used in all live-fire scenes, and were used in any scenes close to the camera. "B-grade" ammo clips are solid foam casts from the real magazines.

This pouch is unchanged as it appeared in SST from the original Eagle Industries stock (...soon to be discontinued, the new version is different). This pouch fastens to the belt with Eagle's hook and loop flap over design. This is the Duty Mag Pouch M-16 (DMP-M-16).
