Welcome to the TrooperPX

The Worlds Most Complete
Starship Troopers Reference Collection.

Synopsis: Based on the classic Robert A. Heinlein millitary-adventure novel, this is an exciting story of young people out to save the human race.

It is 300 years in the future, and the Earth is ruled by the Federation, a world government composed of citizens.  The only way to become a citizen is to enlist in Federal Service.

And this is what our hero, Johnny Rico, does upon graduating from high school. It is not patriotism that motivates Johnny, however, but the love of his girl, Carmen.  Without the math skills of Carmen, who is determined to be a starship pilot, Johnny is assigned to the Mobile Infantry to become a 23rd Century grunt.

In boot camp, Johnny proves he has what it takes to lead a platoon, but a training accident on his watch results in the death of a comrade.  Johnny is on the verge of resigning from the Mobile Infantry when the news comes: The Arachnids, a mysterious race of giant insects, have attacked the Earth without provocation. Buenos Aires, Johnny's home, has been destroyed.

The bugs have fired the first shot in an intergalactic war.  The next time Carmen and Johnny meet is aboard a troop transport.  The world has been changed and so have they.  The innocent times of high school and the teenage romance are but a distant memory.

The attack on Klendathu, the Arachnids' home planet, is a disaster as the Federation forces have seriously underestimated the strategic intelligence of the insect army.  The Human Race must face a harsh new reality: If the bugs are not defeated, humankind faces extinction.

After a series of battles, Johnny, now a combat-hardened Lieutenant, is reunited with Carmen and together they help to turn the tide of the war and ensure the survival of the human race.
